Install in subfolder
Hello
This is my first install of Arachni. How can I specify a subfolder as root?
Thanks in advance

Hey,
There's no actual installation process for Arachi, you just extract the package wherever you want to and you should be fine, so long as the user has write permissions to it when you run Arachni.
Cheers

sorry my question is not specific enough: I'm refering to the http access, not the filesystem. For example:
http://localhost:9292/arachni/scans/19
instead of
http://localhost:9292/scans/19

Ah, I see.
There's no option for that, if you really need this you'll have to setup a reverse proxy using Nginx or something.

This is about setting up SSL, but if you ignore the SSL stuff the other options should give you an idea of how to setup Nginx: https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-configure-n...
Cheers

My setup is a reverse proxy already, but how to handle hard-coded generated urls such /scans?

That's a good point.
Your only option then would be changing the Rails routes, are you familiar with Rails?

Not at all, sorry, I'm more a php kind of guy :-(
Would it be possible to add this suggestion for a future release? :)

Unfortunately, the WebUI project has stopped receiving updates because it's quite horrible and I haven't got time to maintain it, I've been working on a replacement.
So, unless something really break I'm not going to be touching it.
Sorry man.

Really? I like the GUI, it's clean and intuitive.
What will be the new UI?

Mind blowing. :)

Just kidding, it will be pretty good though, about 100 times better than the current one.
It'll still be a WebUI in Rails, but rebuilt from the ground up, much better management of sites, scans, their revisions and their issues.
Much easier to use and more intuitive, easy filtering of resources and traversal up and down from site to revision view.
It'll take me days to describe all the improvements, I'm pretty certain that it'll greatly impress you.
