Problem to initiate a scan via the webui
Hello,
I am having some problem to initiate scans with the web ui, the scan starts and then directly stop with the folowing error message :
This scan encountered a fatal error and stopped, the detailed report is not available.
do you have any idea in order to fix this ?

That's strange, that's not a normal scan error, that means that the process suddenly, and from what you say, immediately, died.
Mind attaching the URL and a JSON export of the profile you used so that I can try and reproduce it?

it is doing it with every url now, and with the default profile also. I will join the profiles.
other infos
I am running it on a Kali Linux, but I had it installed manually, and I think the problems started when I tried to remove the manual install to install the .deb package
the normal scans are still working nicely, it is only the scan via the web-ui that are not working

I'm sorry, I can't support anything other than the packages I've prepared myself. Since this issue is caused by some kind of packaging error, I suggest you either go back to using the official packages or contact the Kali maintainers.

btw: I did try to reinstall the initial package and having the error also, I really have no idea of what is causing it even with the new reinstalled package

Although, when you say "installed" what do you mean? You just extracted and ran the executables under
bin/
