Unable to schedule the scan from arachni UI
Verson: arachni-1.5.1-0.5.12-windows-x86_64 I set Timezone to America/New_York under Administrator =>Settings => General tab. Verified in Windows7 Date and Time window that timezone is set to (UTC-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada). Under the Scan header menu => Scheduling tab I'm placing 11:00 20/03/2018 inside Start At text field as it's suggested. After clicking on the "Go" button I see a message "This scan has been scheduled for Tue, 20 Mar 2018 11:00:00 +0000 (UTC) and will run in about 3 hours." and then in about 10 seconds another message "The scan is initializing, please wait..." Right after that the scanning process starts with browser cluster jobs being initialized.
Question: Does scheduling feature work in arachni Web UI? Please advise

Honestly, it should, but the WebUI is basically abandoned at this point.
With the new engine I barely have time for Arachni, which is why I've been quite for a long time.
I haven't been great help, but if I find some time I'll look into it, sorry.

Hello Tasos,
No worries man, I have found a solution to the problem. It's actually from one of your older responses (September 16, 2013) to another arachni researcher :-) over here http://support.arachni-scanner.com/discussions/questions/2730-setti...
You mentioned that we have to follow these steps:
Get the codename of the one you want with: bin/arachni_web_task time:zones:all
Open system/arachni-ui-web/config/application.rb and set config.time_zone to the one you want -- don't forget to uncomment that line.
And this worked like a charm. Thanks for the great tool by the way...
