Not a ruby person but had success on the web gui install until
the step:
[root@xxxx arachni-ui-web]# bundle install --binstubs Fetching
git://github.com/Arachni/arachni.git

fatal: unable to connect a socket (Connection refused)
Git error: command git clone
'git://github.com/Arachni/arachni.git'

--bare --no-hardlinks in directory /home/k/arachni-ui-web
has failed.
I know it says connection refused but I do not see any communications problems on the box.

I've experienced connection problems with GitHub before, they don't have to be complete network failures you'd notice universally, just rare and periodical failures of their SSH service.
So what I'm saying is that that error is out of my control and you should try again later.
