usage of RAM
Hello, i'm new at arachni and i can't solve problem with usage
of RAM. The problem is that that amount of used RAM increases
during the whole scan no matter of used scan configuration (SQLinj)
and sometimes amount of used memory by arachni reaches the value of
28GB of 32GB total. I have no idea how to solve this, so i hope for
your help.
Results of my tests and some notes:
==> Arachni stable/Arachni dev(nightlies) - still amout of used
RAM increases during the whole scan ==> Tried to set up Postgres
insted of Sqlite - same problem with RAM ==> I run arachni on
windows server ==> I have 32GB RAM + 2xCPU (8 cores summary)

Hello,
Any chance I can perform an identical scan to see if I can reproduce the issue?
You can send me the details in private if you'd like.
Cheers

i tried to use some more variants of configurations, but problem still exists, it seems to me that respawn of process, which might free the memory, doesnt work, could it be so?

I need the entire configuration you used, the target URL and permission to run a scan.

I don't think this issue will appear with any URL, it must have something to do with the site you're scanning.
I order to reproduce it I'm going to need the URL (or URLs) and permission to repeat the scans.
