Ubuntu 12.04. I have noticed a disturbing trend. My hard drive
keeps filling up. To this point I have just gone in and increased
the partition size but it does not take long for the drive to be
near full again. I am wondering if there are left-overs from scans
that can be deleted? Or logs or anything that might be associated
with the scans that could cause this? I do not believe this is an
arachni issue but I thought it best to check just in case while I
pursue other avenues. Thanks.

Lee Michelstag:support.arachni-scanner.com,2012-07-01:Comment/196914342012-10-16T13:40:30Z2012-10-16T13:40:30ZHard drive filling up

Are you using the WebUI? Because if so then there'll be logs
from the RPC servers.
Also, are you using the packages or the gem?

Tasos Laskostag:support.arachni-scanner.com,2012-07-01:Comment/196914342012-10-16T13:47:16Z2012-10-16T13:47:18ZHard drive filling up

I am not using WebUI, I just downloaded the nightly build and
run it from the desktop via command line so I believe I am using
gem (to be honest I'm not 100% sure).

Lee Michelstag:support.arachni-scanner.com,2012-07-01:Comment/196914342012-10-16T13:49:08Z2012-10-16T13:49:08ZHard drive filling up

Ah no, the nightlies are ordinary packages. Then no, aside from
the generated reports there's nothing else.

Tasos Laskostag:support.arachni-scanner.com,2012-07-01:Comment/196914342012-10-16T13:50:44Z2012-10-16T13:50:45ZHard drive filling up

Thanks for the quick response. At least I can close this avenue
and look for others.

Lee Michelstag:support.arachni-scanner.com,2012-07-01:Comment/196914342012-10-16T13:52:42Z2012-10-16T13:52:42ZHard drive filling up

One more thing, is there an error.log in the working dir?

Tasos Laskostag:support.arachni-scanner.com,2012-07-01:Comment/196914342012-10-16T13:55:20Z2012-10-16T13:55:21ZHard drive filling up

Yes there is, but it's only about 4 MB. Not a big concern at
that size but I have been watching it of late.

Lee Michelstag:support.arachni-scanner.com,2012-07-01:Comment/196914342012-10-16T13:56:24Z2012-10-16T13:56:24ZHard drive filling up

OK, it's something else then.

Tasos Laskos
