I am not able to get --timeout-suspend working for me. I am
using "Arachni 2.0dev (ruby 2.2.3p173) [x86_64-linux]" on RHEL 7.
--timeout is working fine but when I use suspend scanner keeps on
running till the scan is completed. timeout is not honored in that
case.

working fine
--timeout=00:10:00

Issue/not-working
timeout period but it takes a long time to do so?
Or have you seen it audit more pages after the timeout?

Tasos Laskostag:support.arachni-scanner.com,2012-07-01:Comment/416070752016-12-23T14:58:52Z2016-12-23T14:58:53Zneed help with timeout-suspend

I not 100% sure but I believe it is auditing all pages. However,
I am testing through vector feed and just with 3 URL's. So, might
be all are loaded at once. Request concurrency is set to 1.

Piyushtag:support.arachni-scanner.com,2012-07-01:Comment/416070752016-12-27T14:00:39Z2016-12-27T14:00:41Zneed help with timeout-suspend

I confirmed once again and my observation is:

If scan is very very small like under minute (possible when you
are providing vector feed and want to test only new pages added to
the application) then timeout suspend switch didn't work which is
fair because scanner loads all those URL's at once and complete the
scan.

In case of regular scans, the scan usually takes slightly 10-15
seconds extra then the timeout specified.

Piyushtag:support.arachni-scanner.com,2012-07-01:Comment/416070752016-12-28T14:45:22Z2016-12-28T14:45:22Zneed help with timeout-suspend

So, are we OK with this? Shall I close the discussion or do you
require assistance with something?

Tasos Laskos
