what are the dependencies for arachni?

Thanks in advance.

praveenakecittag:support.arachni-scanner.com,2012-07-01:Comment/359668362015-02-10T17:58:27Z2015-02-10T17:58:27ZPermission denied

All dependencies that I'm aware of are included in the
package.
Not 100% sure on all the dependencies for PhantomJS (which is the
browser Arachni uses) though, but I haven't had any similar
issues.

Tasos Laskostag:support.arachni-scanner.com,2012-07-01:Comment/359668362015-02-10T18:00:09Z2015-02-10T18:00:09ZPermission denied

Also, the browser process starts fine, but when Arachni tries to
communicate with it it gets an error, which complicates the issue
even more, it doesn't look like a cut and dry dependency issue.

Tasos Laskostag:support.arachni-scanner.com,2012-07-01:Comment/359668362015-02-10T18:10:42Z2015-02-10T18:10:42ZPermission denied

Oh okay.Thanks for the explanation.

Eagerly waiting for the update from you.

Let me know, once you got SSH access from your twitter followers
and reproduce it.

Thanks in advance.

praveenakecittag:support.arachni-scanner.com,2012-07-01:Comment/359668362015-02-12T04:40:55Z2015-02-12T04:40:55ZPermission denied

Hi There,

Any update on this?

praveenakecittag:support.arachni-scanner.com,2012-07-01:Comment/359668362015-02-12T14:59:00Z2015-02-12T14:59:00ZPermission denied

Not really, you don't have to keep checking though, I'll let you
know once I have something.

Tasos Laskostag:support.arachni-scanner.com,2012-07-01:Comment/359668362015-02-17T21:27:44Z2015-02-17T21:27:44ZPermission denied

I tried on CentOS 6.4, which is essentially the same system, but
couldn't reproduce there either. Unless you can give me SSH access
there's nothing else I can do.

Sorry man.

Tasos Laskostag:support.arachni-scanner.com,2012-07-01:Comment/359668362015-02-20T04:40:22Z2015-02-20T04:40:23ZPermission denied

It looks like you have the whole standalone package in
/usr/local/bin/ which is going to cause nothing but headaches and
permission issues.

if you want arachni in your path, you are better off extracting
the self contained package to /opt (or home etc.) and then creating
a symlink to the arachni executable.

sudo ln -s /opt/arachni-xxxxxxxxx/bin/arachni
/usr/local/bin/arachni

Treadietag:support.arachni-scanner.com,2012-07-01:Comment/359668362015-02-20T04:42:07Z2015-02-20T04:42:09ZPermission denied

NM, probably should have read the whole thread first...

Treadietag:support.arachni-scanner.com,2012-07-01:Comment/359668362015-03-05T17:57:35Z2015-03-05T17:57:35ZPermission denied

So, closing this since I can't reproduce the issue.

Tasos Laskos
